Privacy Policy
Effective 1 May 2026
Nexsum is built to help you practise for software engineering interviews. We hold ourselves to one principle: collect as little about you as we possibly can.
What we collect
- Your email address — only to authenticate your account.
What we do not collect
- No tracking SDKs.
- No analytics on your personal identity.
- No advertising identifiers.
- No contact list, photos, or location data.
- No device fingerprints sold or shared.
What we store about your usage
To make the app work, we keep a record — tied to your account — of the practice questions you’ve answered, your scores, and your topic preferences. That’s it.
What we do with your email
- Authenticate you when you sign in.
- Send transactional notices (password reset, account changes).
- Nothing else — no marketing, no third‑party sharing.
Third‑party services
- Supabase hosts your account and your practice history.
- Anthropic Claude API grades your open‑ended answers. We send the question text and your answer for grading. We do not send your email or any other identifying information with the grading request.
Children
Nexsum is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect data from anyone under that age.
Changes
If we change this policy in any material way we will notify you in‑app before the change takes effect.
